Currys World Cup promotion

The problem
Currys wanted to maximise sales of televisions during the World Cup. So they needed a promotional mechanic and creative delivery which would capture the imagination of the country at large.

Our solution
To deliver a sales promotion that is still coveted as one of the best sales promotions of the last 10 years.
With every England goal, customers who bought a television during the promotional period were given £10 off.
Luckily for Currys, England didn’t score that many!
